Spinal Decompression Therapy is an FDA cleared, non-surgical treatment that has an amazingly high success rate for neck and back pain.

It is designed to unload the spinal disc to provide very effective relief of pain in the back, neck, legs, and arms.

These conditions can be caused by herniated, protruding, bulging or degenerative discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica, radiculopathy (pinched nerves) or even failed surgery.

By cycling through distraction and relaxation phases and by proper positioning, a spinal disc can be isolated and placed under negative pressure, causing a vacuum effect within it.

From a mechanical standpoint, disc material that has protruded or herniated outside the normal confines of the disc can be pulled back within the disc by the vacuum created within the disc. The vacuum within the disc increases blood supply, secondarily stimulating a healing response. This results in pain reduction and exceptional healing at the injured site.

How Spinal Decompression Therapy is a Vast Improvement over Traditional Traction:

- Many older traction devices may actually increased internal disc pressure, most likely due to reflex muscle spasm

- DTS creates a negative pressure phenomenon inside intervertebral disc, promotes retraction of the herniation back into the disc and promotes intake of fluids, oxygen and other substances necessary for healing the disc. This activity stimulates repair and inhibits leakage of materials from the nucleus of the disc. Thus, results in a significant pain reduction

- Computer-controlled so it always applies a precise amount of force

- A split-table design minimizes frictional forces

- There’s a well-designed system of support to stabilize your upper back as the lower back is pulled

- The angle of pull is varied to address the exact level and nature of your condition

- And it incorporates many other improvements that add to its safety, reliability, and effectiveness

Why Spinal Decompression is Revolutionary

Preliminary research shows that lumbar decompression is different. The treatment makes the pain go away, and then goes way beyond that. It actually taps into the body’s ability to restore the health of the intervertebral disc, undoing years of degeneration and damage.

The most recent research trial sought to correlate clinical success with MRI evidence of disc repair as a result of such treatment and found that reduction of disc herniation ranged between 10% and 90% depending on the number of sessions performed, while disc annulus healing was evident in all cases.

The most recent clinical study of 219 patients has shown that this type of non-surgical therapy, provided nearly immediate resolution of symptoms for 86% of the participants, and 84% remained pain-free 90 days after the treatment was finished.

Treatment Duration/Frequency required:

Decompression will create a relatively quick initial response.

Patients who will do well tend to quickly feel a sense of relief within 6-8 sessions. Typical frequency is 3-5 times per week.

Based on proven clinical studies, very good pain relief will usually be achieved in 20-33 sessions.

(Occasionally a ’stubborn’ pain syndrome may continue to improve slowly over more sessions though this is not the norm).

The extent and seriousness of the symptoms will determine the number of sessions and frequency of treatment should be utilized.

This is only one of our more effective treatments for neck and back problems. Depending on your condition, we may recommend and incorporate other treatments to speed up your recovery.

No matter how long you’ve had pain or how bad your condition is, a quick phone call is all it takes to find out if this medical breakthrough will work for you.

Medical Massage is a specialized therapeutic massage and manual therapy designed to treat specific pain conditions as determined by our professional physical therapists.

Medical massage is delivered to an anatomical region of the patient’s body based upon soft tissue and joint examination findings.

Clinical massage, often prescribed for injuries and conditions of pain, is a unique technique that involves relaxing the muscles, stretching the surrounding fascia, break up tight adhesions and allows the body to be freed of spasm and pain. Thus, it can increase flexibility in movement and prevent recurrence of an injury.

This adds a new dimension to soft tissue manipulation as well as providing the advantages of “normal” sports massage in a physiotherapy clinic or a relaxing massage in a spa.

Medical massage is useful in addressing conditions such as:

  • Generalized Body Aches and Pains
  • Neck Ache and Pains
  • Back Aches and Pain
  • Pain associated with postural imbalances
  • Muscle Cramps
  • Muscle Tightness/ Joint stiffness
  • General fatigue
  • Migraines/headaches
  • Repetitive use injuries such as Tennis elbow, Golfer’s elbow
  • Pain associated with bulged or injured spinal discs
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Sports Injuries

Treatment plans involve several progressive massage steps or stages of manual therapy treatment whose goal is to correct abnormal conditions affecting the muscle-skeletal system while reducing or eliminating pain.

Some of the best clinically proven medical massage techniques to stop pain are:

Muscle Energy Technique

This technique needs patient participation to contract the tight, weak muscles without moving the involved joint, thus helps to gain motion that is limited by restrictions of the neuromuscular structures.

Myofascial Release

This method includes manual massage for stretching the fascia and releasing the bonds between fascia, integument, muscles and bones. It is a form of soft tissue therapy intended for pain relief, increasing range of motion and balancing the body. The fascia is manipulated, directly or indirectly, supposedly to allow the connective tissue fibers to reorganize themselves in a more flexible, functional fashion.

Strain Counterstrain

This is a very gentle form of treatment that can be used on almost any patient. The basis of this technique is the location of tender points, which are painful areas in myofascial structures. It is based upon identifying tender points and positioning the patient at a point of ease so that the tenderness is relieved.

Joint/ Spinal Mobilisation

This is a special type of passive movement that stretches the surrounding tissue of a skeletal joint and the joint itself. This directly targets the synovial joint which is the most movable type of joint in our body but it is commonly injured. This method provides a therapeutic effect to musculoskeletal problems.

Joint/ Spine Manipulation

This method is similar to joint or spine mobilization that gives a therapeutic effect. However, these kind of passive movements of the synovial joints have other effects other than stretching because it puts the skeletal joint back to its normal alignment and reduces the pressure inside it. It is usually accompanied by an audible click sound.

Precise identification of the underlying problem, together with selecting the most appropriate medical massage technique, is the key to a much more effective, and long lasting result.

Understanding Tissue Pain And Injury

A soft tissue injury is damage done to a ligament, tendon, muscle or nerve. An injury can be the result of a traumatic force applied to the body, or the product of overuse at a specific body part during everyday activities. Whether the injury was caused by a single bout or repeated stress, the final result is pain and tissue damage.

Symptoms of a Soft Tissue Injury:

  • Pain, swelling, redness, bruising, decreased range of motion, tenderness, and an inability to apply pressure to the site injury.
  • There are three degrees to a soft tissue injury and pain:

- First Degree (mild): Stretching, micro-tearing and mild pain

- Second Degree (moderate): Partial tearing and moderate pain

- Third Degree (severe): Severe or complete tearing and significant pain

Most people suffering from chronic muscle pain, joint stiffness and cartilage degeneration, have been living with the pain for a long time, but are unaware of newer treatment options to stop the pain fast and accelerate the tissue healing process. Many resorted to taking drugs like painkillers or muscle relaxants to manage their pain and inflammation, or frequent massages to relax their tight muscles, which will often  relieve their symptoms for only a short time.

Their pain problems will usually persist or even worsen. Some may avoid activities like work, sports or entertainment, resulting in a poor quality of life. Some have difficulty getting a good night’s sleep. As a result, they may feel discouraged or frustrated. In addition, some may also feel it is ‘part’ of normal life to experience pain when a person ages. Often, patients may have given up trying to treat the pain.

Breakthrough In Tissue Repair Treatments:

The Pain Relief Practice is one of the few  physiotherapy clinics in Singapore which offer advanced pain treatment technologies to achieve rapid pain relief and accelerated tissue repair .

Our highly-trained licensed physical therapists provide you with the most functional results with our TISSUE REPAIR PAIN TREATMENT PROGRAM.

1) Microcurrent Electrical Therapy (Alpha Stimulation)

Microcurrent therapy represents the  vast improvement in electrotherapy for pain management. Electrotherapy has been used since 1967 to treat pain. Microcurrent is the latest technical innovation to succeed TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)

Microcurrent involves the application of small amounts of current, usually less than one milliampere (1,000 microamperes) to treat the pain problem and heal soft tissues of the body. Injury to the body disrupts its normal electrical activity. Microcurrent Therapy produces electrical signals like those naturally occurring when the body is repairing damaged tissues. By applying similar electrical currents, the healing process is enhanced.

The electrical current used in Microcurrent Therapy is so small that it is rarely felt and very comfortable treatment. It is often recommended in cases involving muscles spasms, tissues inflammation, tissues damaged or torn. Microcurrent Therapy can help speed the healing process, reduce pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, release muscle trigger points and improves soft tissues repair and regeneration.

2) Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) penetrates deep into the tissues, transforming a cell from unstable/unhealthy condition. The cells begin to produce energy (ATP), which improves their function, assists their division, strengthens the body’s immune system and causes the secretion of various hormones to heal damaged cells. If damaged cells have died, laser therapy stimulates new tissues growth, improve quality and tensile strength in tissue repair.

3) Polarised Light Therapy

Polarized light therapy is a revolutionary Swiss technology that penetrates deeply to the soft tissues for pain reduction and promotion of tissue repair.

It improves micro-circulation, harmonizes metabolic processes, and reinforces the body’s defense system.

Tissue Repair Program is a step by step specialised advanced physical therapy tissue repair program. Our goal is to help you relieve your pain as quickly as possible, and to ensure that it doesn’t return with healing of your tissues. That’s why we developed our unique Tissue Repair Program for fast healing of your pain, repair of damaged tissues.

How Can Physiotherapy Help Me?

  • Examine The Painful Area. Identify The Cause. Address Predisposing Risk Factors.

Physiotherapists treat a wide variety of pain and injuries using many different techniques. In many cases, the causes of pain are obvious. Physios usually perform some tests to help locate the source of the problem and help implement the appropriate treatment strategy.
Physiotherapists are also interested in the factors which contribute to the problem. Identifying factors such as a poor posture, improper techniques, muscle imbalances, suboptimal work practices, or other bad habits allow interventions to be made, correcting these factors. This will reduce the risk of the same problem from happening again in the future.

By focusing on specific areas of your musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, ligaments,  tendons, cartilage, spine and joints) that are affected by pain, injury, disease or trauma, our physiotherapists are able to target treatment and develop a customized plan to help you achieve the most rapid and complete recovery possible.

  • Providing Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation following Sport Injuries or Workplace Musculoskeletal Injuries

Physiotherapists can help you get back to work or sports more quickly by providing rehabilitation programs and advice on how to prevent a recurrence of the injury.

  • Providing Rehabilitation and Exercise Before and After Surgery.

If you are having or have had major surgery, physiotherapists are often involved in pre-operative and/or post-operative programs to help get you moving again and back to normal activities as fast as possible.

  • Providing Professional Advice on Exercise Prescription

If you have the urge to get fit and stay healthy, one of the best ways to do this is by through regular exercise. However if you have not done any serious exercise for a while or had previous pain and injuries, it may be advisable to seek assistance to devise an appropriate program for your needs, and ensure you are not at risk of injury.

Physiotherapy Treatments:

After a physiotherapist assesses and evaluates your condition, the therapist will develop a personalized treatment program which may include one or or more of the following treatments:

  • Therapeutic Ultrasound

Ultrasound involves high frequency sound waves used to relieve pain and improve healing. This modality is commonly used by physios to treat arthritis, inflammation of peri-articular structures, neuromas, and to soften adhesive scars.

  • Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is a safe and drug-free method of managing acute and long-term pain. It can also be used to stimulate the contraction of muscle fibres and as a non-invasive method of electro- acupuncture point stimulation.

  • Joint Mobilization

This involves careful use of skilled graded forces to move a joint in a desired direction. This form of physical therapy is usually used to improve joint motion and normalize function by improving joint nutrient supply. It also help to control pain and relieve muscle tension.

  • Therapeutic Exercises

This involves prescribing exercises based on the specific condition of the patient. It allows for faster recovery through an increase in flexibility, strength and muscle control.

  • Postural Training

Poor posture is the underlying cause of many neck, back and shoulder problems, as well as headaches. Postural training is therefore an important part of many treatment programs.

  • Core Stability Exercises Training

Core stability exercises helps the body to re-learn correct movement patterns through specific therapeutic exercises activating key core muscles. This re-educates the body to move in a physiologically ideal manner to recover from pain and allow optimal performance.

  • Sports massage

Sports massage, a form of sports physiotherapy, is geared toward athletes of every kind, from professionals to weekend joggers. The massage is specific to the athlete’s sport of choice and is often focused on a particular problem area like the knee or back. Sports massage can be used as a means to enhance pre-event preparation and reduce recovery time for maximum performance during training or after an event. Athletes have discovered that specially designed massage promotes flexibility, removes fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries, and prepares them to compete at their best.

  • Deep Friction Massage

Deep tissue massage targets knots and releases chronic muscle tension. With a special focus on the deepest layers of muscles and tendons, the result is very effective relaxation and pain relief.

  • Sports Taping

Sports taping helps by providing joint protection, muscle stabilization, and muscle feedback.

  • Kinesio Taping

Kinesio Taping is a rehabilitative taping method to re-educate the neuromuscular system, promote lymphatic flow and drainage, reduce pain, enhance performance, prevent injury, and promote injury resolution.

  • Mechanical Traction

In traction, a pulling tension is placed on the neck or back. This distraction force stretches the muscles around the vertebrae of the spine, and expands the space between the vertebrae. This provides reduced pressure on the spine, and relieves pinched nerves from irritation.

  • Manual Traction

Manual pulling force applied by the physiotherapist on the neck or back to relieve pain and manual distraction to loosen up the tight joints.

  • Ergonomics Training

Ergonomics advice is invaluable at work and home to prevent pain caused by repetitive movements, poor posture, poor seating, desk position and computer alignment. You will be advised on maintaining a good posture and shown how to do this to prevent body aches, muscle tightness and pain, especially neck aches, shoulder tightness and back pain.

Why The Pain Relief Practice?

While there are many places in Singapore where one can find a good physiotherapist, many other Singapore physiotherapy clinics fall into one of two groups:

The first group generally offers physio services at very “cheap” rates which result in long appointment and waiting times, hurried, overworked physiotherapists, and very brief “standard” treatments which involve “just exercises and heat treatment”.

The second group of practices often offers “premium” physio services which unfortunately involves much higher fees.

At The Pain Relief Practice, our aim is to always provide personalized, advanced treatments, at a convenient time and location, while keeping fees very affordable.

Using advanced rehabilitation techniques based on the latest scientific developments in physical therapy, our physiotherapists are dedicated to helping patients achieve freedom from pain.

Many of our patients have been through trials of many other treatments (including “standard physiotherapy”) without success before finding relief with our newer pain treatment technologies.

We’ re committed to achieving good results—especially with persistent pain, degeneration and chronic conditions.

SERVICES AVAILABLE

Every ‘body’ is unique and no two injuries are identical. Your individual condition will determine the type of treatment that best suits you after assessment by our specialized pain physiotherapist.

Typical physiotherapy treatments:
- Ultrasound
Deep heat by high frequency sound waves to relieve pain, improve healing. This modality is considered medically necessary to treat arthritis, inflammation of periarticular structures, neuromas, and to soften adhesive scars.
- Electrotherapy
Electrotherapy is a safe and drug-free method of managing acute and long-term pain. It can also be used to stimulate the contraction of muscle fibres and as a non-invasive method of electro- acupuncture point stimulation.
- Joint Mobilization
Careful use of skilled graded forces to move a joint in a desired direction. It is usually used to improve motion and normalize joint function by improving joint nutrients supply.  Help control pain and muscle tension.
- Therapeutic Exercises
Selecting and prescribing exercises purely on the basis of the need of an individual patient. Allows for faster recovery through an increase in flexibility, strength and muscle control. This greatly increases the specificity of the prescribed exercise to stretch, strengthen and coordinate those areas that need it, and not to do what is not necessary.
- Postural Training
Poor posture is the underlying cause of many neck, back and shoulder problems, as well as headaches. Postural training is therefore an important part of your treatment and can include assessing posture both at work and in functional activities, education and training specific exercise
- Sports Massage
Sports massage is geared toward athletes of every kind, from professionals to weekend joggers.  The massage is specific to the athlete’s sport of choice and is often focused on a particular troublesome area like a knee or back. Sports massage can be used as a means to enhance pre-event preparation and reduce recovery time for maximum performance during training or after an event.  Athletes have discovered that specially designed massage promotes flexibility, removes fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries, and prepares them to compete at their absolute best.
- Deep friction massage
Deep tissue massage is use to target knots and release chronic muscle tension.  Other benefits include reducing inflammation and helping to eliminate scar tissue.  The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). The more intense movements and techniques such as deep finger pressure may be slightly uncomfortable and cause soreness that lasts a couple of days before resulting in the desired relaxation and pain relief.

Besides typical physiotherapy treatments as above, we specialized in more recent advanced proven treatments:

Polarised Polychromatic Light Therapy

Polarized Polychromatic light therapy penetrates to underlying soft tissues for pain reduction and promotion of tissue repair and regeneration (wound healing). It can help to improve microcirculation, harmonize metabolic processes, and reinforce human defence system.

Spinal Decompression Therapy (DTS)

Spinal decompression therapy is FDA cleared, non-surgical and has a high success rate. It is designed to unload the spinal disc to relief of back and leg pain or neck and arm pain. These conditions include herniated, protruding bulging or degenerative discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica or radiculopathy (pinched nerves)…or even after failed surgery. During this procedure, by cycling through distraction and relaxation phases and by proper positioning, a spinal disc can be isolated and placed under negative pressure, causing a vacuum effect within it. From a mechanical standpoint, disc material that has protruded or herniated outside the normal confines of the disc can be pulled back within the disc by the vacuum created within the disc. The vacuum within the disc stimulates in growth of blood supply, secondarily stimulating a healing response. This results in pain reduction and proper healing at the injured site.

Seek early treatment! Don’t delay further…
People often ask about how soon they should get treatment. Treatment of pain is important, and the earlier treatment begins, the better the chances of improvement. The recovery time and pain endured can be minimized, and any costs and time away from work and activities reduced.
It is much easier to treat a new injury straight away and settle it down with the right approach, rather than wait until secondary problems or reinjury occur.

What to expect for your first visit
During your first visit, a detailed assessment with combination of history and physical examination will be done by our specialized pain physiotherapist. If required, we will refer you to further diagnostic tests and investigations. We will discuss your concerns, carry out movement and biomechanical analysis, perform an examination of affected areas and diagnose your condition based on findings. This thorough process is essential for the fastest road to recovery to be identified.

After evaluating your condition, our physiotherapists will recommend a specialized treatment plan for your unique condition. All treatments are done with special direct care from professional physiotherapist only.

Our Focus

  • Reduction or fast relief of pain. Using the most safe, non-invasive, and effective treatments to enhance your body’s healing process.
  • Minimize Reliance on Medication. Many patients require medication for pain during treatment. In many cases, this involves the use of narcotics or medications with addictive or abuse potential. Our goal is to reduce the need for narcotics through individualized interventional strategies and the use of advanced pain relief technologies.
  • Empower you with greater understanding. We believe your understanding of how your body functions can play a role in the cure of your pain, improving your performance and minimizing your risk of injury.
  • Maintaining Fitness and Activity Level. A strengthening and stabilization program will be an integral part of the treatment plan. This is to maximize the benefit of the interventional procedure by strengthening key muscle groups that have become deconditioned and weak, making the involved segment less susceptible to recurrent problems.
  • Lead a better quality of life. The goal is to improve overall mobility, activities of daily living and when appropriate, work capabilities and return back to an active lifestyle.

Some Of Our Success Stories:

Thank you very much for your help and advices during my physiotherapy sessions. I followed your advices to practice the exercises that you taught me everyday. Now my back pain is getting better. I felt really relaxed during your therapy sessions as you were very nice and caring. And this relaxed feeling enabled me to be maximally benefited from the treatments. At this point, my back is feeling better than before. Having seen the results of your physiotherapy sessions, I will certainly come back for your treatments and introduce your services to my friends who are suffering from pain. Thank you again for your good work!
Xie Wenyan, Radiographer

The treatment was very useful and helpful. I felt better after a few times and no longer feel pain in my back. The physiotherapist has been very patient and answered all my queries regarding my situation. Thanks so much for helping me recover.

Alex, business development manager.

After arriving singapore I felt severe pain in my knee next day. I got to know about ‘The Pain Relief Practice’ from my friend. I didn’t expect that i would be taking treatment from such a nice physiotherapist! The Physiotherapist’ is very kind & take care of the patient from her heart or in othr words a person fully dedicated to remove the pain as much as she can from people around her. She always make her patients comfortable in any situation. Words might not be enough to tell about her but do wish to say thanks for all the care she had shown in her treatment. The Polarised Polychromatic Light Therapy was wonderful. It makes me feel more comfortable very quickly. I feel very good today as my knee pain is fine now. Wish you good luck & God Bless You with power of knowledge & money to serve people more better.
Kishore, Overseas businessman

The physiotherapist is very dedicated and patient. She has helped to reduce the discomfort I experience in my back as a result of scoliosis. The treatments followed by light therapy are a great way to fix muscular aches and speed up recovery. Highly recommended to every potential patient.
Ng Song Ping, NSF

I would like to thank the physiotherapist of The Pain Relief Practice for being so kind, gentle and thorough while assessing the condition of my injured right shoulder. As a result, treatments administered were spot-on and I recovered more speedily than I expected. I would certainly recommend anyone who requires physiotherapy consultation and treatment to The Pain Relief Practice.

Thank you very much once again.

Jennifer Lau How Ngoh, Housewife

I do not have this recurring pain for the last 5 weeks since the treatment I received in your clinic. I must say I was sceptical before my session with you. As the last time I saw a physiotherapist in a ‘government’ hospital 3 years ago, I dont have the same relief experience. On top of this relief I found, I am grateful for your tips on warming specifically for muscles used in Golf to allay any golf related injury.  The last 3 weeks I participated in 2 golf tournaments and both of them I came in 2nd position. With the pain gone I am more confident in executing my golf swing thus I can enjoy my golf even better not to mention winning kudos. Is not about wining tournaments; but having a relief from pain that is somehow a great reward itself !!!

Thanks again; I would not hesitate to vouch for your high level of professionalism in the area of physiotherapy.

Anthony Lee, Senior Manager

I wish to thank you for the past few sessions that I’ve had for my plantar fasciitis condition.

I successfully completed my half-marathon last week under 2 hours without any problems.

With your recommended exercises and massage, I believe I would be able to compete in my first full marathon in December.

Clinic Consultation Policy

While we are able to help MOST patients suffering from pain, there will be the rare patients who, after a full consultation and thorough physical assessment, we find will be better helped by a doctor.

Unlike some physiotherapists who may insist on charging for “professional consultation”, in such cases, our policy is that since we have not directly “solved” your problem, consultation fees will be waived.

Why The Pain Relief Practice?

While there are many places in Singapore where one can find a good physiotherapist, many other Singapore physiotherapy clinics fall into one of two groups:

The first group often offer physio services at very “cheap” rates which result in long appointment and waiting times, hurried, overworked physiotherapists, and very brief “standard” treatments which involve “just exercises and heat treatment”.

The second group of practices often offer “premium” physio services which unfortunately involves much higher fees.

At The Pain Relief Practice, our aim is to always provide personalized, advanced treatments, at a convenient time and location, while keeping fees very affordable.

Advanced Physiotherapy Treatments:

  • Polarised Polychromatic Light Therapy

Polarized Polychromatic light therapy penetrates to underlying soft tissues for pain reduction and promotion of tissue repair and regeneration (wound healing). It can help to improve micro-circulation, harmonize metabolic processes, and reinforce the body’s defense system.

  • Spinal Decompression Therapy (DTS)

Spinal Decompression Therapy is FDA cleared, non-surgical and has a high success rate. It is designed to unload the spinal disc to provide relief of back and leg pain as well as neck and arm pain. These conditions include herniated, protuding bulging or degenerative discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica or radiculopathy (pinched nerves)…or even after failed surgery. During this procedure, by cycling through distraction and relaxation phases and by proper positioning, a spinal disc can be isolated and placed under negative pressure, causing a vacuum effect within it. From a mechanical standpoint, disc material that has protruded or herniated outside the normal confines of the disc can be pulled back within the disc by vacuum created within the disc. The vacuum within the disc stimulates in growth of blood supply, secondarily stimulating a healing response. This results in pain reduction and proper healing at the injured site.

Free Phone Based Consultation

Although all patients should personally visit a doctor or physiotherapist for a full assessment of their condition, we often find that many patients are already able to relieve their pain with some simple advice and home based treatments.

While some physiotherapists may be glad to have you pay them just to be told “rest and use a heat pack”, we feel that in such situations, patients should not need to waste their time and money.

That is why we prefer if you could give us a call for a short free phone based consultation with our physiotherapist, before coming making an appointment to see us, just in case we can help you save some time and money through a simple phone chat.

In Clinic Free Consultation Policy

While we are able to help MOST patients suffering from pain, there will be the rare patients who, after a full consultation and thorough physical assessment, we find will be better helped by a different physiotherapist, or specific doctor, or even chiropractor. Unlike some other physiotherapists who may insist on charging for “professional consultation”, in such cases, we feel that we since have not “solved” your pain, it is only right that we should not be charging you just for a referral.
